Based in UK, this branch of Lucas industries ltd. (50,000 employees),
created and manufactured assembly and test equipment for the automotive
and aerospace industries. The main applications were fluid management
and measurement, assembly and test of powertrain assembly or sub-assembly.
Besides these projects, the company produced and distributed a range of
technical products mainly directed to the diesel specialists (test benches,
smokemeters, small tools). |

In
liaison with the (over the border) engineering departments, to take in
charge the representation of Lucas ATS on the Area markets and animate
the distribution networks dealing with the "catalogue' products.
This included the search for customers, the definition of the needs, the
customer relationship, the planning follow-up during the development and
the production phases, the installation logistics, the customer support
and the relevant financial issues. |

The other divisions, sold over the years, were producing single-hand faucets
and powder metal products.

insure the sales development near the European OEM and OES the products
of the group. This function included the search for OEM customers, the
need analysis, the product adaptations, the logistic Europe/USA, and,
according to the country, the distribution network organization. To these
missions is added the communication function (adyert., press relation,
documentation, shows). The department budgeting and management, the product
sales price and margin definitions belonged to the function. |

(France) at Daf/Leyland (UK). Diesel Fuel Filters in production at John
Deere (France). Business development with Valmet (Finland). Hydraulic
lash adjuster technical introduction at PSA and Renault Products to the
market through the Stanadyne networks (Europe & Middle East). Sales
through the Service departments of Renault, Citroën, RVI, John Deere,
Fiat, Iveco etc…. and various other distribution channels (Norauto,
AD, etc…). Other products launch : generic fuel filters, dynamic
timing tool kit, additives, etc… sold allover region II.

Under
the Manager Europe authority, to introduce in Europe the Stanadyne product
range. and adapt the US products to the European markets. To study and implement
a filter production plant in Europe. To develop European sources for the
company parts commonly used in production (die casting, glass, fine-tool,
springs, etc...).

Sales
activity as previously presented. Positive study covering the implementation
of a filter production unit in France (the project was held for corporate
reasons). A 35%+ cost reduction on die casting, glass and spring components
was obtained and is still operant. Products adapted to the markets (technical
